If we were worried about every little thing that could happen to us we would probably never get out of bed in the morning. The best way of approaching risk is to understand it, then hedge against it as best you can. For example, a quick review of the statistics on our own client base indicates a frequency rate for auto claims of 12 - 13% per year. This means that 12 to 13 of every 100 of our customers will have to make some sort of claim on their car insurance. Right away, 'it won't happen to me' becomes a very UNlikely thing.
